QB Eli Manning vs Bears
RB Demarco Murray @ Colts
WR Odell Beckham vs Bears
WR Antonio Brown @ Browns
TE Martellus Bennett @ 49ers
Week 11 Value
WR Cameron Meredith @ Giants
I would like to take this time to apologize for Tavon Austin and Alshon Jeffery. My god what killers to what could have been a great week. I love how unpredictable DFS is. This week we had the merger that we have been waiting for/expecting. Is should be interesting to see where the industry goes from here. Right now we as players don’t have anything to worry about, as everything will be status quo for the next year or so. All that means is we get to win more money now!
QB- Eli Manning
Kinda like last week there is not a lot leading me to my Eli pick, other then wanting to be contrarian this week. The Bears have given up the most fantasy points to Wide Recievers this year, but are the middle of the pack versus the QB. The Giants rush offense is the 3rd worst rush offense in the NFL, and the Giants are projected to score around 25 points. The only way they are going to get there is through the air, which is why I think Eli is a sneaky play at home this week.
RB- Demarco Murray
Murray gets a nice matchup this week versus the Colts who are bottom ten vs the rush, and Vegas likes this game to be the highest scoring of the week. I think most people are going to heavily rely on Blount and Bell this week, so Murray should be under owned like he has been most of the year. Demarco has the chance to be the highest scoring back this week, and with less ownership and a slight discount to Bell, I love him this week.
WR- Odell Beckham Jr.
See- Eli Manning. Like I said the Bears have given up the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers and Odell has the type of upside to go off against the Bears. In order for Eli to have a game that we need from him, Odell is going to need to go off. Combining both and hoping for the best this week and maybe we see the big Odell game for the first time this year.
WR- Antonio Brown
Give me AB in any division game and Ill be a happy man. AB gets the Browns this week who give up the 4th most fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position, in a game that the Steelers should score a ton of points in. Brown is getting back to normal pricing after a few weeks of being discounted, but I am still looking for him to break out in a great matchup and is another receiver who is due for a huge game.
TE- Martellus Bennett
Im kind of upset that my exposure to the Pats ended up only being Bennett, however he is my favorite play from the game. Gronk has already been ruled out, and he will be the highest owned tight end this week, but he’s worth it. Bennett steps into an offense with a heavy emphasis on the tight end. I am hoping that people will be scared off by the numbers San Fran gives up to the tight end, but the amount of opportunity for Bennett is to high.
Value Play- Cameron Meredith
Cameron Meredith gets to join the ranks of number 1 receivers after Alshon’s suspension for PED’s (which didn’t help him at all last week). You start with a 50/50 shot of Cutler being either good or trash, then you get to if he can perform in the matchup. The Giants give up the 6th most passing yards, and Meredith should see an increased role without Alshon. Add in a little game theory that if the Bears show up and can put some points up (hopefully to Meredith) the Giants will be forced to keep scoring. Lets hope thats the case and lets win some cash!
