QB Jameis Winston vs Saints
RB Jeremy Hill @ Browns
WR Mike Evans vs Saints
WR Willie Snead @ Bucs
TE Cameron Brate vs Saints
Week 14 Value
WR Emmanuel Sanders @ Titans
So we were a Willie Snead game away from a really big week last week. `The Saints as a team were awful last week which ate into Detroit points as well which is a bad combo. This week is gonna be what we call double dipping, because were gonna go right back to attacking some match ups from last week. This week has the chance to have some really high owned players with a like of high offense games, and potential bad weather in good offense games. We will try and navigate it to get the best results.
QB- Jameis Winston
Tell me if you have heard me say this before, ATTACK THE SAINTS D! Jameis is the lucky winner of the Saints shootout game this week, and the Bucs have been playing some of the best football the last few weeks. The Saints/Bucs game has the highest over under on the slate and it isn’t close. The Saints give up the 4th most passing yards per game and in a high scoring affair Jameis’s upside is tremendous.
RB- Jeremy Hill
Jeremy Hill gets a matchup with the Browns who only give up less yards on the ground then the dreadful 49ers. This may be my first time recommending Hill because its the first time you can guarantee his touches with Gio being out for the year. Hill is averaging 4.0 yards per carry this year and against the awful defense in the Browns Hill should get a ton of touches and be able to really shine this week.
WR- Mike Evans
In the first target of the receiving core is one Mike Evans. The Saints give up the fifth most receiving yards to Wide receivers for the year. Evans is coming off one of the worst games of the year where he was only targeted 6 times. Look for Evans to be extra involved in the offense, and have a great matchup to bounce back. Evans is the most targeted receiver in the NFL by almost a target per game, so look for him to get back on track this week.
WR- Willie Snead
He’s back to ruin our dreams again! Alright hopefully not. Snead has another great matchup against a less then stellar nickel corner in Jude Adjei-Barimah. The Bucs do a solid job of covering the wide receiver so they will need to attack the weakness in the defense. Hopefully Brees bounces back and takes advantage and uses Snead much more this week.
TE- Cameron Brate
This is more of a gut play then a statistical one. The Saints have played decent defense against the tight end this year and haven’t shown any real signs of issues. But Brate is averaging 6 targets a game over the last 4 weeks and for the season averages just over 1 red zone target a game. In a high scoring game you can expect Brate to get more opportunities and hopefully more opportunities to get into the end zone.
Value Play- Emmanuel Sanders
Thanks to a week with a rookie Quarterback Sanders price has dropped to under 6k on Fanduel and Draftkings. Trevor looks to be back this week and with perfect timing as the Titans are a nice matchup for Sanders. The Titans give up the third most plays of 20+ passing yards and are third worst in passing yards to the wide receiver position. Sanders is a target monster for the Broncos as he has had 9+ over the last 5 weeks. At this price he should be able to really produce and has shown the ability to have a nice upside as well.
