STAKEZ is a free NFL player stock game made by uSTADIUM (NextGen Social Sports, Inc.). It is in open beta. This page states the rules of the game in plain words. The Terms of Service govern; if anything here differs from the Terms, the Terms control.
Nothing in STAKEZ costs money. There is nothing to buy, no subscription, and no purchase of any kind is necessary to play, to keep playing, or to do well. No payment can improve your prices, your standing, or your chances in a Battle.
uBUCKS are the game's virtual currency. Every account starts with the same amount. uBUCKS have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, cashed out, redeemed for money or anything else, or transferred to another player. They are not property and cannot be inherited or assigned. uSTADIUM may adjust or reset balances to keep the game fair, as the Terms describe.
Player prices are set by uSTADIUM from published performance statistics and a consensus valuation, through a formula that runs after games. Prices never move because of what players in the game buy or sell. Every trade is made with uSTADIUM at the posted price, with a small spread on each side, and daily limits cap how far any price can move. Nobody is on the other side of your trade, and nobody can move a price by trading it.
A Battle is a head-to-head contest between two players, or between a player and uSTADIUM. Both sides put up the same number of uBUCKS. Each side drafts a roster of at least three players it already holds, drawn from at least two different real games. The side whose roster scores more points, using published statistics, receives both stakes. uSTADIUM takes nothing from a Battle between players. A Battle that cannot be scored fairly, for example because a game was postponed, is voided and both stakes are returned.
STAKEZ awards no prizes. Standings, marks on your profile, and bragging rights are the only recognition. No cash, merchandise, tickets, or anything else of value is given for playing or for finishing anywhere on any board.
STAKEZ does not offer odds, does not take wagers on the outcome of any game, and does not run contests for money. uSTADIUM is not a sportsbook and does not link to, integrate with, or promote any sportsbook or prediction market inside the game.
You must be 18 years of age or older. At signup you enter your date of birth and confirm that you are 18 or older; accounts that do not meet the age requirement are not created. One account per person. The game may not be available in every place, and it is void where prohibited. You are responsible for following the laws that apply where you live.
Play as yourself, with one account, by hand. Bots, scripts, automated trading, multiple accounts, sharing accounts, collusion between accounts, and any attempt to manipulate prices, standings, or Battle outcomes are not allowed. uSTADIUM may adjust balances, void contests, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, as the Terms provide.
